Key Takeaways
- Prioritize high critic review scores over famous cast members to ensure the screenplay quality is actually consistent.
- Check the runtime before you hit play because an overstuffed three hour epic often requires a higher commitment than a tight thriller.
- Look for films tagged with your preferred pacing, as some slow burn dramas can feel like watching paint dry if you want action.
- Confirm the maturity rating if you plan on watching with family, as modern dramas often include mature themes that surprise viewers.
- Verify the availability of 4K streaming if you have a high resolution display, otherwise you are just paying for pixels you cannot see.
