Key Takeaways
- Look for films featuring a lead actor with enough charisma to anchor a messy plot.
- Verify the genre fits your mood since these films often lean hard into either intense action or campy drama.
- Check the runtime because these productions are frequently most effective when they stay under the two hour mark.
- Prioritize titles that have a clear, singular hook rather than those that attempt to juggle too many subplots.
- Read the synopsis to see if the premise promises a self-aware experience or a unintentional comedy.
